s an introduction to STEM concepts, fourth-graders in the MST lab at Oquenock Elementary School were asked to design rockets that would be propelled by air blown through a straw, and were given two attempts to make their rockets fly as far as possible. After the first trial, students were encouraged to go back and make changes to their rockets, using measuring skills to record the distances they traveled.
