Town of Islip employees and volunteers from Islip Food for Hope distributed more than 800 turkeys and pies, along with 1,000 ‘Boxes of Love’ to over 70 agencies, including churches and school districts within the Town. These Thanksgiving boxes will be given to families in the community to help ease the burden of food insecurity during the holiday.
