16TH ANNUAL SOLDIER RIDE
On Friday, July 14, 2023, the Town of Babylon, in partnership with Wounded Warrior Project, honored and participated with wounded U.S. military veterans in the Town’s 16th annual Soldier Ride. Hundreds of eager participants rode their bikes alongside wounded U.S. military veterans on the 25-mile route from Babylon Town Hall to Overlook Beach and raised money for veterans service organizations. Throughout their 16 Soldier Rides, the Town of Babylon has raised over $1.5 million for Wounded Warrior Project. Over 1,000 registered riders were expected for this year’s event, and the $50,000 fundraising goal has already been surpassed. The amount raised is up to $140,000 with donations still coming in.
