onnetquot Central School District Edith L. Slocum Elementary School second grade students recently welcomed Mrs. Arthur, of the Long Island Center for the Arts & Sciences, to their classrooms. Students were presented with facts about insects and other bugs and were given a different perspective as to how these bugs live. Students were also able to act out how insects see, eat and survive as well as create and name their own models.
