Advanced treatment is finally available to YOU if you are suffering from the debilitating effects of Peripheral Neuropathy Symptoms! Do you suffer from any of the following... • Numbness of your feet • Painful tingling feet • Night-time discomfort • Pin-like sensations with each step

Have you ever been told...

• You have Neuropathy • Live with the pain, nothing can be done

If you answered YES to any of these questions, you’re in LUCK! “Doc, I can’t live with this excruciating foot and leg pain!”

I have been treating Neuropathy for years with great success but stumbled onto this new treatment in 2011 that is used to treat patients who are fearful of losing their legs. My staff and I witnessed some amazing reductions and When you hear this from a patient it gets your eliminations of some of the worst pain syndromes I had ever seen… attention. Typically, I get the worst of the worst pain patients but when I recently heard this And it was FAST! After just a few minutes of treatment on patients with exclamation, my attention was particularly extreme and chronic pain of the worst kind, including neuropathy of the feet peaked. Let’s call this patient Bob. Bob is 62 and legs, we had patients telling us how their pain levels had decreased years old with neuropathy in his hands and feet. and they were shocked. Some of them had their pain even alleviated after He had poorly controlled Type II Diabetes and his only one treatment. We were able to reduce or even eliminate neuropathy life was literally as he described it “a living hell.” pain of the worst kind. Some of them had their pain even alleviated after Clearly he was coming to the end of his rope. The only one treatment. nerves in his legs and feet were damaged and he was in HORRIBLE CONSTANT PAIN! We were able to reduce or even eliminate neuropathy pain of the worst kind!

I Can’t Sleep at Night!

He complained to me, “I can’t sleep at night because my legs feel like they Using the latest and most recent technologies, I now offer a non-invasive, non are being eaten by little bugs or chewed on by small animals.” surgical and painless neuropathy pain treatment. I help patients reduce or even eliminate their neuropathy pain using nutritional therapies, deep tissue During the day, he could hardly walk and every step sent shooting pain super-pulsed cold laser treatments, combined with specific non-surgical, like lightning from his toes and up his legs up almost to his knees. He was worried he might fall and injure himself.

I Had to Help This Man!

I recently was fortunate enough to accidentally discover a new noninvasive and non-drug treatment for severe and constant foot and leg pain caused by neuropathy. 273920N0129

Here’s what some patients have said about their treatments: “I was on 14 medications and my doctors had told me I may need to have my foot amputated. I hadn’t been able to wear shoes other than sandals for years because of my swollen and painful feet. After going through this program I’ve lost weight and my foot pain is gone. I can now wear normal shoes.” -Patient, N.S., Age 58 So just how can you see if Dr. Roth’s Neuropathy Pain Relief treatment will help you to reduce or eliminate your foot or leg pain?

Share The Voice, a local charity raising awareness and funds to provide disabled children with adaptive tricycles, was so blessed this season. The organization raised jlynn@theneighbornewspapers.com www.facebook.com/instepwithjamie enough money to give away two specially made adaptive tricycles as Christmas gifts to two blank slate, it’s been one me when the crocuses sprout. By: Jamie Lynn Ryan beautiful young girls! endless procession of taking February, while still Joined by Manorville January is probably my down Christmas decorations, possessing great blizzard Fire Department, Santa least favorite month of all. Apologies to those with birthdays or other milestones that fall within these 31 days, but honestly, it doesn’t seem like anything of any real significance happens in January – save for exorbitant snowfall totals, hazardous driving conditions and a general sense of post-holiday “blah-ness.” Am I wrong? Please tell me if I am. I would love nothing more than to find some redeeming quality for this last month. Other than the initial excitement of starting off a new year with a completely

attempting to pack away said decorations in some sort of orderly fashion and then realizing how very empty all the rooms now look. Of course, throw in a couple of significant snowfalls, the digging out that comes with it, one especially tedious fourhour commute home from work – and I’m about ready to hibernate with the groundhog until next spring. That’s quite enough of winter as far as I’m concerned. Perhaps if I was fortunate to sit home and admire the snow from a window until it all melted away… but until then, wake

potential, at least brings with it the promise of spring, a progression toward warmth and flower blossoms and longer days… everything that January does not. And there is also, of course, our furry friend the groundhog, that poor little sleep-deprived creature whom we systematically awaken each February 2nd with the hope that his clairvoyance will predict an early spring. Seems sensible enough. And so we bid adieu to January. Goodbye and good riddance, with hopes for only good things come February.

Friends, neighbors and a bunch of strangers stood outside singing Christmas Carrols as Emma got acquainted with her new wheels. Emma’s trike was in part donated by the White family, currently of Massapequa Park. Members of the White family fulfilled their grandmother’s (Ruth

White, age 97) wish of donating the money they would have spent on her Christmas gift to a child in need. Kimberly White, granddaughter, chose Share the Voice as a worthy recipient. Ruth couldn’t have been happier watching the video of Emma receiving her trike. Many tears and life lessons from grandma

were a part of the White family’s holiday this year. To view videos and pictures of these events, donate or apply for a tricycle grant, please visit www.sharethevoice.org. Join the emailing list on the homepage to receive information on upcoming giveaways. Share the Voice would love to have you there!

College interviews are a very daunting concept. So far, I have taken part in three of these alumni interviews. In my very limited experience with the process, it seems that the purpose is to sell the college to you. In addition to asking you questions, the interviewer will go into depth about his experience at the specific institution. He wants you to want to go there. He wants you to follow in his footsteps as an alumnus of College X. Alumni interviews are meant to serve as a judge of your communication competency. Essentially, it has become evident that an interviewer is checking that you can

handle yourself in the real world. No college wants introverts. They want passionate, articulate students. They sift through countless applications to find these lucky boys and girls. If you are really serious about attending a college, an interview is a great way to express your interest. It gives an applicant the chance to blow an interviewer away with an extensive knowledge of the history of the university, the campus or the academics. But even if you have no current interest in College X, it never hurts to keep your options open. Inherently, an interview is nerve wracking. You are being

judged by a stranger that has the power to influence the rest of your life. Who wouldn’t be nervous? When it comes down to it, the interviewer is there to make you feel at ease. There is no need to be anxious, as the interviewer will often lead the conversation and get you through the process. It is their job to ensure that the college has a steady influx of capable young minds. There is nothing you can do to guarantee admission, but an interview is a great place to start. The college is always looking for the best students an interviewer can provide. Both you and the interviewer are merely vessels for advancement.
