oodhull Elementary School students had the chance to learn about the writing profession first-hand when author Maria LaPlaca Bohrer visited the building as part of the school’s PARP program. Bohrer, author of Sofia’s Stoop Story, spoke about the writing process and emphasized the importance of revision as she showed her original manuscript and the 27 rewrites she completed.
