LOCAL STUDENT ARTIST EARNS RECOGNITION - Meghan O’Reilly, a junior at SUNY New Paltz, was recognized by Supervisor Angie Carpenter at Town Hall recently. The East Islip High School graduate completed a mural of an oyster’s life cycle this summer at the Town’s Shellfish Hatchery in East Islip.
