hird-grade students at Thomas J. Lahey Elementary School attended an engaging electricity assembly on November 17th hosted by scientist and author Steve Tomecek. Also known as “The Dirtmeister,” Tomecek interacted with the students to expand their knowledge of the science curriculum. Throughout the assembly, students learned about the history of electricity, what it is and the dangers that it possesses. A great time was had by all.
