s a culmination to their apple unit, students in Emily Gutheil’s kindergarten class at Washington Drive Primary School in Harborfields worked together to make homemade applesauce. During the 45-minute activity, students rotated to four apple-themed stations that afforded them the opportunity to explore apples through a variety of hands-on activities. At each station, parent volunteers began the activity by reading a short story about apples.
