Boyd Intermediate School in the Elwood Union Free School District participated in the Google Expeditions Pioneer Program, which allowed them to go on a virtual field trip by using Goggle Cardboard headsets. For an allotted half hour, each class had the opportunity to experience the technology program. Expeditions are collections, scenes or virtual reality panoramas – 360-degree photo spheres, images and videos.
