Sea Perch Competition

he Bridges Academy Sea Perch Competition was held recently at Webb College in Glen Cove. Sea Perch is an educational outreach program sponsored by the Office of Naval Research to help identify the next generation of engineers in America, while helping to fulfill the “E” for engineering in S.T.E.M. Programs. Bridges Academy sixth and seventh-graders built their own ROVs from kits provided by the school.
