“The Ready Bride” Debuts At Bacca Arts Center In Lindenhurst

Lindenhurst Trustee Douglas Madlon recently enjoyed a wonderful night of “dramedy” at the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA) Arts Center, located at 149 North Wellwood Avenue. The Debut Theater Company presented the original play, “The Ready Bride”, written by local playwright Anthony DiFranco. The show, directed by Martin Knapp, starred an ensemble cast, including Erin Biener, Dan Bubbeo, Gerry Ferretti, Julie Katz, Kevin Russo, and Katie Schrader. Trustee Madlon said, “I totally enjoyed this original production, and the opportunity to experience an evening of theater right here in the Village Grand Knight Patrick Corcoran and Inside Guard Mark Himes of OLPH Knights of of Lindenhurst. I encourage residents to explore the wonderful and diverse offerings at each Columbus Council 794 in Lindenhurst recently delivered four cases of peanut butter to the of the three theaters in our Lindenhurst Downtown “Theater Row” -- BACCA, South Shore Town of Babylon in support of its annual Peanut Butter and Jelly Drive. Mr. Kozlowski spent his career serving as a Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) with the Department of Public Works. Throughout his four and a half decades of service, he earned the respect and appreciation of his colleagues through his ability, diligence, and commitment to the Village and its residents. Remove leaves as they fall: Fallen leaves can block water and nutrients from reaching the soil, much like excessive thatch. Remove leaves regularly, particularly when they begin accumulating in large quantities. Fall is an opportune time to tend to a lawn and increase the chances that grass will grow back strong and healthy in spring.
