Water should not be able to infiltrate through these openings. Make sure the soil around your window wells is loose and able to absorb water so no flooding can occur. Seaford Finds New Principal, Assistant Principal Within

A pair of familiar faces to the Seaford community are taking on new administrative roles in the district for the 2023-24 school year. Jennifer Bisulca was named the new principal of Seaford Harbor Elementary School and Alex Mantay was appointed as an assistant principal at Seaford High School.

Ms. Bisulca has been an assistant principal in the district for six years, first at the high school, then moving to Seaford Middle School in February 2022. She was a driving force behind the creation of student wellness centers at both schools. At the middle school, she helped grow the student leadership program,

collaborated with seventh grade teachers to implement Teacher’s College reading and writing workshop units and expanded its social media presence.

Before coming to Seaford, Ms. Bisulca was a secondary English teacher. She holds her bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from Hofstra University, a master’s degree in literacy from Dowling College and a building leadership certificate from the College of St. Rose.

In her new role as principal of Harbor, she is looking to nurture student curiosities and ensure that their first school experience is enjoyable and successful. She is excited to share in those “a-ha” moments when a child learns something new. Ms. Bisulca will work with Assistant Principal Caroline Stringer to build on the school’s strong academic, social and emotional programs, and said her experience as a middle school and high school administrator can be an asset at the elementary level.

“I know how to prepare students for the next two levels and I know the great opportunities that lie ahead for them,” she said, adding, “I’m looking forward to building relationships with students and their families at the Harbor.”

Mr. Mantay has more than a decade of teaching experience. After beginning his career in Manhattan, he has taught eighth grade math classes at Seaford Middle School for the past six years. Additionally, he has served as a coach for the middle school football team and the junior varsity basketball and lacrosse teams, and been the middle school’s teacher representative to the PTSA.

He holds a bachelor’s

degree in math and a master’s degree in secondary math education, both from Adelphi University, and his administrative certification from Stony Brook University.

Mr. Mantay is also a member of the National Council of Teachers of Math.

At Seaford High School, he will be reunited with many students he has taught and coached, and looks forward to supporting them in the final leg of their academic journey in Seaford.

Mr. Mantay is thrilled to be part of a student-centered administrative team with Principal Nicole Schnabel and fellow Assistant Principal Dr. Raphi Morey.

Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify tools and dies. Assisting Pressroom supervisor with any necessary troubleshooting, tooling, maintenance, etc.

Troubleshooting production and quality problems related to tooling.

Updating and maintaining tooling ﬁles. Evaluating and improving tool performance.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Tool and Die Maker. Interpret blueprints to determine materials, speciﬁcations, and tolerance for tools.

Ability to set-up and operate conventional tool room equipment. Knowledge of Stamping and Progressive/Compound Dies.

CAD/CAM experience (AutoCad/MasterCam) a Plus.

Experience using VMC’s and or Wire EDM a Plus.
