andalay Elementary School third-grade students in Wantagh looked to the sky as their handmade Stomp Rockets propelled toward the sun during a workshop with STEAM Powered Learning. Instructors Joan Soldano and Janice Katz discussed the parts of a rocket and instructed the students to render their artistic versions on paper, incorporating a cone, fuselage and fins. Great job!
