E
ighty 4th graders from Seaford Manor Elementary School reinforced Science lessons on ecosystems and food chains by dissecting and examining sanitized owl pellets. After carefully unwrapping the pellets from the protective foil casing, students used bamboo probes and plastic tweezers to delicately disassemble them. They worked in pairs to sort the discovered bones onto a chart to find what the owl ate.
