ow do things work? That was the question on the minds of inquisitive second graders from East Lake Elementary School who visited the Long Island Children’s Museum’s hands-on learning exhibit titled, “How Things Work.” The program featured six simple machines and explained how they complete tasks through fun, interactive ways such as a game show format. Pictured are a few of the students on hand.
