uthor and former Birch Lane Elementary School teacher Valerie Pfundstein read and discussed her book, Veterans: Heroes In Our Neighborhood with Theresa Brodmerkel’s fourth grade class at Unqua Elementary School. Pfundstein helped students develop and strengthen their appreciation for our veterans, and then autographed copies of her book for the students. A great time was had by all.
