The Massapequa Public Schools Board of Education received a special thanks from students in celebration of School Board Recognition Week at the Oct. 19 regular meeting. Trustees were treated to a video in which

Massapequa High School students played the role of board members and discussed their mission to ensure a quality education for all. They demonstrated some of the regular occurrences at board meetings, such as the approval of minutes, and

showed correspondences from elementary school students. Trustees also received artwork from elementary students and water bottles branded with the Massapequa mascot from Superintendent of Schools Dr. William Brennan.
