Senator Brooks Attends Fire Camp

As a volunteer firefighter for over 50 years, a former Fire Chief, and Chair of the Senate committee that oversees Homeland Security in New York State, Senator John E. Brooks is proud to have been able to provide funding for The Nassau County Junior Firefighters Association’s Camp Fahrenheit 516. This program takes local high school students and places them in real-life probationary firefighter training courses under the guidance of the Nassau County Fire Service Academy (NCFSA) in Bethpage, NY.
