United States Air Force Thunderbirds To Headline The Fourleaf Air Show At Jones Beach
FourLeaf Federal Credit Union, New York State’s largest credit union, and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, are pleased to announce that the United States Air Force Thunderbirds will headline the 2025 Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach taking place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, and Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Bethpage Federal Credit Union has been the title sponsor of our local air show since its inception in 2004, building on its history as the credit union founded by employees of Grumman Aerospace who built many of the aircrafts flown in the show over the years. Bethpage recently rebranded to become FourLeaf Federal Credit Union, making this year’s show the FourLeaf Air Show at Jones Beach.
Additional military performers for the 2025 show include: the United
States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the United States Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II, the United States Navy F-35C Demo Team, the United State Navy Rhino Demo Team, the United States Navy EA-18G Growler Demo Team, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), the 106th Rescue Wing NY Air National Guard; and the 105th Airlift Wing unit of the New York Air National Guard.
Civilian teams set to perform, include: the American Airpower Museum Warbirds; current reigning Air Masters Cup Series champion and current Sky Grand Prix Champion, Aarron Deliu; Warbird Thunder featuring the North American SNJ Texan, a former WWII Navy Advanced Training Aircraft; the Farmingdale State College Flying Rams; and Long Island’s own David
Windmiller.

This year’s show will be the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds’ 10th appearance as headliners. Last year, over
459,000 people attended the 20th Anniversary Show over the three-day period, making it the most highly attended air show to date.
Returning again for the 2025 show is the FourLeaf Air Show Mobile App. Fans can text ‘Airshow’ to 516842-4400 to download the app for performer and sponsor information, a site map, helpful FAQs to help prepare you for the show, and more to come. The mobile app will be available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store later this month.

2025 Relay For Life Cancer Walk/Events Scheduled On Long Island
Relay For Life is more than a walk, it's a community consisting of survivors, caregivers, thrivers, volunteers, teams, local businesses, and community organizations all to fund the mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. At Relay For Life, we gather around tracks and local parks and malls to walk together to fight back against cancer and show support to survivors. We host VIP complimentary Survivor Celebrations, enjoy music from DJs and local bands, dance groups, and students. As the sun sets, we illuminate our tracks and paths with luminaria bags in honor, memory, and support of all those touched by cancer. Overall, in 2025, there will be an estimated 2,041,910 new cancer diagnoses in the U.S. (5,600 each day) and 618,120 cancer deaths. Relay For Life has raised more than $6.9 billion to support these efforts since 1985 (and on our way to $7B in 2025), and $69 million was raised in 2023;

Splish Splash Gears Up For 2025 Season And Debut Of All-New Water Playground
From soak to spray there’s water every which way, beginning this summer at New York’s Largest Water Park, Splish Splash, the park will debut an all-new water playground. Set to open for visitors in summer 2025, the new kids’ zone will welcome the tiniest of tots as the water park reopens for its 35th Season on Saturday, May 24. The brandnew splash-tastic water playground will offer more than 15 fun and silly ways to stay cool during family’s visits to Splish Splash. The new area will be decked out with three-pint sized water
slides, six interactive spray features, five water play features, a dump bucket and fun for all to soak and spray. In addition to the new water playground, the park will be adding new events to add to their already diverse line-up. Splish Splash will kick off the season with entertainment Opening Weekend. Kids of all ages will love Kids Fest weekends in June and the annual Father’s Day Belly Flop contest on Saturday, June 14. Then, in July and August, the park will bring back its Shark in the Park, Touch a Truck and Hero Appreciation and
Teacher Appreciation weeks. There will be more surprises around the corner this season.
This world-class oasis of 96 tree-covered acres offers fun for all and located just off the Long Island Expressway. The park offers two wave pools, a large Kiddie Area, a lazy river, and many different food and merchandise locations. Splish Splash offers unique thrilling attractions and high-speed slides like Bombs Away, Riptide Racer, and Bootlegger’s Run, the first water coaster in New York full of breathtaking drops, including one from nearly five stories high.
To celebrate the all-new water playground and Splish Splash’s 35th Season, guests can purchase a 2025 Season Pass now for as low as five payments of $20 each which is best way to experience the park. Season Passes come with an array of perks from
discounts on food and retail, free parking, bring a friend tickets and more.
To kick off the 2025 Season, Splish Splash is hiring 1,000 team members and accepting applications in all departments. Those who apply today can work as a lifeguard at the park’s all-new water playground or make one of the park’s famous Ben’s Soft
Pretzels. Positions are also available in Park Services, Admissions, Retail, Security, Guest Services and more.
