he fifth grade students from Birch Lane Elementary School had an excellent experience at Commerce Plaza, a unique, hands-on educational program that introduces the students to business through a simulated work environment. They learned about the possible careers, economics and general skills needed to work. They received paychecks, made bank desposits, wrote checks, prepared cost sheets and more.
