Rose was born to Vincent and Frances Petralia in Newark, NJ, and moved to East New York, Brooklyn where she graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. Rose met and married Anthony Lombardo in 1948 and lovingly raised four sons. Once her children were grown Rose worked in the banking industry for a few years but remained a constant presence in her family life. Unhealthy diets is among some of the key contributors to the dramatic rise in obesity and dietary diseases affecting people in our country today. In order to address these issues, the FEAST Program serves parents or heads or households through our comprehensive 12-week Wellness Program. It is a very successful program!”

On September 17 and 18, 2022, The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation will host two unique events on Long Island to create awareness for Veteran SuicideLeadingPrevention.fellow soldiers, Veterans and friends, Charles J. Sanders, a Major in the United States Army National Guard and Commander of Southold American Legion Post 803, will hike 22 miles carrying 22 pounds to represent the 22 Veterans who die by suicide each day. Sanders is asking Americans to join him in person or online virtually in memory of our service members who die every day from suicide.
The foundation’s ongoing mission is to acknowledge and support the sacrifices made by service members, Veterans, and their families. As a part of this commitment, the foundation is proud to provide financial support for education in addition to building greater awareness for important Veteran causes.

The competitive local business environment is spawning more and more businesses, in particular, a proliferation of business whose primary business purpose is massage.
