Section XI DISCOUNT State Qualifiers FUEL OIL hree members of East Islip’s Girls Varsity Swimming team competed at the Section XI State Qualifiers, held at Suffolk Community College. Senior Amanda Cosby swam the 500 freestyle in 5:54.89 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:17.86, sophomore Julia Llewellyn swam the 100 backstroke in 1:04.63 and the 100 butterfly in 1:01.16, and eighth-grader Natasha Rice swam the 100 backstroke in 1:05.24.
