ast Islip High School’s Mock Trial team won the first round of the Suffolk County playoffs. The prosecution team successfully argued their case against Comsewogue H.S. before the Hon. Anthony Senft in U.S. District Court, qualifying them for the Suffolk County Elite Eight round. The lawyers for East Islip were Brittney Baker, Bella Pizzuto and Katrina Shea, and the witnesses were Steve Geiseler, Emma McGaugh and Kierstin O’Hara.
