armingdale School District’s Weldon E. Howitt Middle School Student Council recently donated 247 pairs of jeans to a local safe house through the Teens for Jeans organization. Students were inspired to donate after learning more than one million young people in the United States experience homelessness every year, and how they often request jeans and other essential clothing items. Thanks to all those who contributed.
