Butterflies Bid Farewell
A
s part of the third-grade science curriculum, students in Marissa Pratt’s class at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School in the Copiague School District studied the lifecycle of a butterfly. After watching caterpillars transform into butterflies before their own eyes, the students bid farewell to their new insect friends as they were released into their natural environment. A great time was had by all.
