Of the 12 women and six men who strolled the Soiree runway, 14 have developmental disabilities and receive support from ACLD. “Our individuals and their needs are as unique as the fashions they wear today,” said John J. Genova, Treasurer of ACLD’s Board of Trustees, and one of those who escorted models on the runway. “ACLD’s job is to ensure we meet those needs and be prepared to support their dreams and aspirations for tomorrow.”

The Copiague School District will hold fall sports physicals on Thursday, August 11th for all high school and middle school students planning to participate in fall By: Jamie Lynn Ryan sports. The physicals will take place in the Walter G. Well, it’s happened. Jack has played for multiple Long Island hockey teams, the Rebels,

The camp has been helping children flourish since its early stages in 1941, when the Rotary Club of the Moriches arranged a beach-side picnic for children with Polio. This inspired the founding of the official camp in 1948, when Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck held its first summer session for
