Earth Day Cleanup
n celebration of Earth Day, members of the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School Student Organization of Unified Leaders Adopt-A-Highway Club, along with adviser Joseph Mannix, organized a group cleanup event. More than 25 students, equipped with gloves, garbage pickers and trash bags, rallied together to beautify the area near their school. Working in groups, they cleaned up along Dixon Avenue.
