xploratory scientific learning is starting early at Babylon Elementary School as students are engaging in inquiry-based, handson projects within the building’s new science lab. The space, which was previously occupied by a class, was transformed this winter with the guidance of first-grade teacher Bernadette Forthmuller and the PTA. Here, students get an up-close look at hermit crabs in the science lab.
