BABYLON TOWN BESTOWS HEROISM AWARD UPON FOUR LOCAL FIRE OFFICIALS Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and the Babylon Town Board recently bestowed the heroism award, the town’s highest honor, upon four local fire officials who are credited with saving a life at a recent house fire. Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez, Councilman Terence McSweeney and Town Clerk Gerry Compitello were joined by Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly when they attended a recent meeting of the Town of Babylon Fire Chiefs Association to present the awards.
