2019, The Year of You It’s the time of year again, when people go around making resolutions about their goals and plans for the New Year. You may have been a little less than successful last year when you made the commitment to better health and fitness, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try once again. Make 2019 the year you follow through with your set goals and become a better and fitter version of yourself. Remind yourself daily why you chose the goal you chose. Was it because of a health issue, or maybe a family member motivated you? Keep these thoughts at the top of your mind, so they can keep you moving when you lack motivation. When you feel like giving up, think of who you are doing it for and what effect quitting would have on them and yourself. Don’t be vague with your goal – be specific. So, you want to get stronger in 2019? How? It’s important to outline a specific goal that you can reach in a reasonable amount of time. Do you want to increase your weights to 300lbs by June? That sounds much more specific and attainable than just wanting to get stronger.
