Gulf Air is the national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since 1950, Gulf Air has become one of the first airlines established in the Middle East, operating scheduled flights from its international headquarters at Bahrain International Airport to cities in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia.
Gulf Air has been the Title Sponsor of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix since it made history as the first Formula 1 Grand Prix to be held in the Middle East in 2004. In addition, the airline has been the Official Carrier of the biennial Bahrain International Airshow since it was first held in 2010.
