2013-14 I Believe in the Future of Ag Donor Recognition

Dear Supporter, As we wrap up the 2013-14 I Believe in the Future of Ag campaign, we are very thankful. We’d like to take a minute to thank each one of you for your support, belief and investment in your local chapters.

Almost $430,000 was raised in this campaign. Of that, almost $200,000 was raised by our local chapters and just over $220,000 was sent right back to those participating chapters. Each chapter received at least a 112% return on your investment to be used on local programming, community service activities and other innovative projects in their community and FFA chapter.

This year, students competed to raise the most money at the local level per FFA member. The Stuart FFA chapter received first place, followed by Bridgeport and Bloomfield. These chapters will use the funds to attend leadership workshops, pay for basic FFA programming and purchase additional equipment to expand agricultural education curriculum in the classroom.

In addition, the Freeman FFA Chapter and Heartland FFA Chapter received $1,000 for their winning videos in the first ever I Believe in the Future of Ag video contest.

We’re already in preparation for the 2014-15 I Believe in the Future of Ag beginning next fall. It is our hope that you see this as a valuable investment in agriculture and our youth and that you will continue to use this opportunity to make an impact in your local community.
