Impact beyond our walls leads to Neev hosting the largest children’s literature festival, a book award set up to recognise great children’s literature from India, and our upcoming Teacher Training Institute for education reform. As Bangalore’s only city center IB school our 15 acre verdant campus is located to not only avoid long commutes that can be a tradeoff in a rapidly urbanising India, but to be a vibrant learning culture driven by community interaction, and conveniently hosting inter school events. Our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is new, but our second cohort of IBDP graduates' results have already matched and even surpassed older and more established school.

COVID lockdown Schools across India shifted to online learning in March 2020. Neev's initial IBDP cohorts, with mostly new students, graduated online. Many DP teachers, also new to the school were brought together by our community culture to achieve great learning and results managing labs rotationally, curriculum completion online with no learning loss, and completing all coursework on time. Highschool students continued student government and service initiatives, four issues of the school newspaper, sports day and other creative events online. Our literature festival went online with the book award and offered a new 'Reading Challenge' for middle grades in schools across the country. We completed two NEASC visits online, and received accreditation with commendations for teachers' commitment, collaboration, capability and competence, students' transfer skills across cognitive, social and ethical domains, and the schools learning culture and relationships. .
