From the well-trodden words of Edgar Allen Poe to the revolutionary expression of Rupi Kaur, poetry has been long embedded in our history and our identity. Students will hone their literary and creative skills to compete in this poetry contest. The topic for the poem will be announced 20 minutes prior to the competition. The competition will test not only a student's ability to write poetry, but also their ability to present their poetry with conviction and panache!
