Neev Early Years

Dear Neev Community,

2021-22 Academic year marked by Online, offline, hybrid, learning pools, staggered days and many adaptive challenges! The resilient Neev community faced all of them, together!

The end of the year was sublime with the first face to face event after 26 months - The Graduation! What a joyful way to end the year. We also know that Covid is at bay but not completely gone from our lives. Experience suggests that vaccinations really matter. Moving online is not good for well-being; intellectual well-being is incomplete without social and emotional well-being and that is best managed face to face.

As we plan for the new academic year we are aware of the fact that this year we will have not only the Toddlers but children across the Early Years who will be coming to physical school for the first time. Having good routines that allow children to manage themselves, be independent, communicate their needs and regulate their behaviour will go a long way in the smooth transition to school. For the teachers and children being together with a bedrock of strong relationships the challenges of transition will be surely overcome and learning will be wholesome and joyful. Now that our Neev graduate Profile - Self Directed learner,

Communicator, Collaborator, Disciplinary thinker, Community Builder, adds the action layer to our mission and vision we are all set to welcome our EY children in the 18th year of Neev. We look forward to continued parent participation in the events and regular reading volunteering. Deeper parent engagement is a key objective to strengthen the collaboration, that is an essential element of the sacred triangle of child, parent and school.

Our evolution and growth in the Early Years space continues with meaningful spaces, knowledgeable teachers, regular training and focus on rigour and joy as we build skills of language, Math, thinking, communicating, collaborating and persevering. We are ready to embark on the learning journey for all of us, to be our best each day!

Yeah, we know they are important. We know it matters.

Because this is when we know. That it's not we telling them.

It's them telling us. It's them losing the plot a little. To find their big story.

It's about them finding trails, to chapter their next adventure.

It's about them falling in love, with nothing but plain blue sky.

The early years, That's when they grow. Grow to be individuals. For the society.

To be part of a new culture.

To be part of a different community. In which, finding their true reason of being, Is what matters to them, Us and You.

And you and I know that what we are today, is because of what we went through early.

Let's make those early years count for them. So that they can find what they want to be, the way they want to.

Let's make these early years, their years to find their being in life
