Happy Holidays Nebraska PGA Members & Associates:

I hope you and your families are having a great Holiday season and looking forward to a successful 2023! This is a great time of the year to recharge your batteries and do some travel with friends/family. It is also an opportunity to reassess your goals and invest in yourself. Take part in the education provided by the Nebraska Section or read a good “self-help” book. Talk with your peers in the section and see if you can add a new program or event at your facility. Don’t just hit the “push and play” button…..how can you add something new or sunset an event that is not working? How can you stay relevant at your facility and continue to lead programming for player development and growing the game. Let’s do our part and contribute to this great golf wave we are riding!

A great way to start your year is to attend the PGA Show down in Orlando, Florida during the dates of January 24th – January 27th. Take a few of your staff down to visit the demo day at Orange County National to see the new golf equipment for 2023. Check out the education conference seminars and club company education to learn about the latest trends and creative national programming. See the exhibit floor to find that unique product for your golf shop or gift item for the member guest. The show has changed over the years to more than just a trade show for golf equipment and really can be used as an educational tool to jump start your season. Don’t miss out on a chance to network with PGA Professionals from around the country….plus maybe get in some golf! Hope to see you there. Stay well and cheers to 2023,
