Message from Chairwoman Mary Weber I am proud and honored to serve the KCCFF as Chairwoman of the Board this year. As a resident of Keith County for most of my life, I have seen and experienced all the wonderful things this part of Nebraska has to offer. The KCCFF shares my enthusiasm for Keith County. Our Fund Advisory Committee has added four new members this past year. They are Ron Hollmann, Jacob Hovendick, Sheila Mitchell, and Christine Vail. Not only do these four bring diversity to our group, but they are filled with new ideas and determination to make Keith County a better place to work, live, and grow. This past October was a busy one for our Foundation Fund. We distributed over $27,000 to 10 civic projects and organizations in our 12th year of grant giving. The Foundation has given more that $242,000 in local grants since 2004. I'd like to think we have touched many in our area and have improved our landscape. Our grant applications seem to increase every year and our funds are more in-demand than ever before, and this need shows no sign of abating. We, as a fund, have made strides to make charitable giving easier for anyone who wants to give back to our community. Board member, Pam Abbott, has worked hard on the memorial giftgiving portion of our Fund. By honoring loved ones, the gift also helps give back to our community and its future. As always, we thank all of the people that help us achieve our goals, and invite all of you to support the KCCFF in any way you can. Together we can and will make a difference in this great county we call home.
