PROJECT OVERVIEW SS&C is a corporate event that invites its customers to showcase the technology they use to manage a company’s financial operations. The primary challenge was to create an engaging, visually appealing environment, with a strong emphasis on the kiosks, which served as key touchpoints for generating potential new sales opportunities. My involvement spanned the entire process, from initial concept through development and final execution, ensuring the proposed vision was successfully brought to life. Working closely with the sales and operations teams, I designed and oversaw the implementation of graphics, structural integrity, and functionality to ensure each element met the project’s objectives. Additional elements I designed and incorporated into the space included a dimensional photo opportunity, registration area, and various smaller design features that complemented the overall environment and enhanced the experience for the attendee.

PROJECT OVERVIEW FIRST Robotics Competition became a first-time client for AEX in early 2026, but the foundation for success was established in 2025 when my employer secured the contract from the event’s long-standing general service contractor. Delivering a successful event required more than execution on-site, it began with a collaborative effort. Together we developed creative, innovative solutions that brought the competition to life for its young, engineering-minded participants. I played an interactive role in helping shape the visual presentation. AEX approached the proposal by developing three distinct signage concepts,each offering a unique look and feel while remaining aligned with the event’s established theme. Working alongside my VP of Design and Chief Commercial Officer, we demonstrated our commitment to creativity, collaboration, and client investment while identifying opportunities to deliver a stronger visual experience at a reduced cost. This project exemplified the value of teamwork, strategic thinking, and creative problem solving in securing new business and delivering results for AEX. Following the contract securement, I assisted with graphic layouts and production preparation, collaborating closely with our local print team to ensure the final signage was accurately executed and ready for the event on time.

PROJECT OVERVIEW At Senco Brands, my primary focus was maintaining brand consistency across a diverse range of products and packaging. During my tenure, I collaborated with an external design agency to support artwork preparation and production setup as part of a large-scale rebranding initiative.

PROJECT OVERVIEW As a new client of AEX in 2026, Cyber.SEC.Community entrusted me and my current employer with producing and expanding their three annual shows from their respective clients. My role involved working directly with the clients’ Program Director to transform initial AI-generated renderings into fully production-ready designs. The images below showcase the completed installations from our client’s largest event. These began as paper napkin sketches and evolved into tangible, fully produced environments. One featured example is the client’s main entrance structure, which was designed to establish a distinctive atmosphere from the moment attendees arrived. CONCEPT

While the overall theme draws inspiration from the 1950’s, the creative direction incorporated a science-fiction aesthetic to create a unique blend of nostalgia, intrigue, and futuristic imagination. The final concept establishes a sense of mystery, inviting attendees to question what lies beyond the entrance while building anticipation for the experience ahead.

PROJECT OVERVIEW As a long-standing client of my current employer, the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) had successfully produced its annual event for years but had yet to fully explore the creative possibilities for its design. For the 2025 event, NJSBA wanted to create its entrance and registration area as the centerpiece of the experience, which challenged AEX to bring that vision to life through innovative design and production. Through numerous client meetings and creative brainstorming sessions, I led the creative direction and fabrication approach for the event’s structures, building upon the theme selected by the client. The goal was to create an unforgettable first impression that elevated the attendee experience while balancing visual impact with production feasibility. Following the event, the published photography helped showcase this eye-catching environment, which went on to receive recognition from EXHIBITOR Magazine as a top corporate event for 2026. PROJECT OVERVIEW Heritage Auctions exhibits annually at The National Sports Collectors Convention, where my employer was tasked with designing and building a custom exhibit to showcase and sell high-value sports memorabilia. The primary objective was to create a premium retail environment that emphasized the products as the main focal point, incorporating graphics selectively around the booth’s office area rather than throughout the entire space. A critical requirement was ensuring all displayed merchandise remained secure at all times. My role focused on leveraging my 3D design capabilities in AutoCAD to develop a detailed exhibit concept that aligned with the client’s expectations, brand presentation, and operational requirements. I explored a combination of materials, display fixtures, and finishes that conveyed a high-end aesthetic while providing the necessary security for valuable merchandise. The design also prioritized modularity, efficient transportation, and ease of re-assembly, allowing the exhibit to be relocated and installed within tight event timelines without compromising its appearance or functionality. PROJECT OVERVIEW During my time at BHDP, I had the opportunity to manage two experiential graphic design projects for Procter & Gamble (P&G), one at the company’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the other at its P&G Ventures office in Mason, Ohio. Although I was not directly responsible for the design execution, I participated in daily discussions throughout each project’s lifecycle, from initial concept development through final installation, helping guide the overall look, feel, and execution of each environment. My primary responsibilities included schedule coordination, budget oversight, and ensuring key production milestones were met. Once each concept received final approval, I was responsible for identifying and hiring the appropriate fabrication and installation partners to bring the designs to life. I coordinated with these vendors to ensure the finished installations aligned with the approved concepts, project requirements, timelines, and budget expectations.

PROJECT OVERVIEW As part of a proposal bid for AVB, I collaborated with my creative team to develop a distinctive event brand identity that demonstrated our creative vision and strategic thinking. Our approach centered on creating a bold, engaging tradeshow environment using vibrant colors, interactive elements, and customer focused experiences. The goal was to establish a strong visual presence across the show floor, ensuring attendees could easily identify the AVB space while creating a memorable and cohesive brand experience. While my design team provided creative support, my primary responsibilities included brand development, graphic layout design, and the creation of 3D renderings to communicate the proposed concepts during the presentation process. Although AVB provided the required list of exhibit components, the overall creative direction and design approach were left to my team. This allowed us to develop a solution that balanced the client’s requirements with our own creative vision. This project demonstrates how strategic design and creative expression can strengthen business communication, increase audience engagement, and transform a brand’s presence into a meaningful experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE

AEX Convention Services Design Services Director: 12/24 - Present Serve as the primary business and creative liaison for the design team, driving strategic alignment between creative initiatives and business objectives. Schedule and lead meetings with clients and internal teams to align on scope of work and budgets for a workload of $25M -$30M. Develop comprehensive mood boards and visual strategies to guide cohesive brand identities while managing and mentoring a team of designers. Produces detailed 2D and 3D line drawings and high-quality renderings, and visualizations to support design concepts and production. Defined, tracked, and reported on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and project success, developed and implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency and operational effectiveness, and managed project timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Served as lead on the corporate tradeshow committee, managing the design, production, and execution of the company’s tradeshow booth and experiential presence. Partnered with regional and international vendors to reduce production costs and improve efficiency for retail implementation. Collaborated closely with the executive team to support new business development efforts, including preparing and delivering presentations to major retail partners such as Home Depot and Lowe’s.
