Cast and Crew Bios of The NDP Players

Meet the Cast

Zane Barkemeyer (Cornley Stage Crew)a junior, is excited to be returnning to the NDP stage. Zane is also on the NDP Wrestling team. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support. Enjoy the show!

Braelyn Christie (Cornley Stage Crew)a sophomore, is excited to be apart of this show. She was in Macbeth last year and is thrilled to return and be apart of another show. Braelyn thanks her family and friends for all their support.

Keira Clark (Cornley Stage Crew)a sophomore is so happy to be apart ofThe Play that goes Wrong. This is Keira’s 3rd show with NDP and she is ecstatic to continue performing with her wonderful cast and crew. She is so thankful for tech, the actors, Mr. and Ms. Sequeira, and her family. Being part of the behind-the-scenes magic has taught her the power of teamwork, quick thinking, and duct tape. She’s proud to help bring the show to life and can’t wait to see what chaos unfolds next!

Sophia Crown (Sandra) a senior, has been acting and singing since she was 5 years old. She has performed at Desert Stages and Desert Foothills Theater and has performed in 3 shows and teched one show at NDP (Women of Lockerbie, Anastasia, and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940). Being a part of The Play that Goes Wrong has been amazing! She would like to thank Ms. Sequeira, her mom, dad, the cast and crew and her amazing voice teacher, Michele Kahn, who has inspired her to never give up. Sophia is excited to perform her role, Sandra, for all of you and she hopes that you enjoy the show.

Abigail Denlinger (Cornley Stage Crew)a sophomore, is in her first show at NDP. Last year, she was on the tech crew for Macbeth. She has been in 28 theatre productions, and some of her favorite roles were Miss Hannigan in Annie and Zazu in The Lion King. Abby is thankful to her family and friends for supporting her acting journey. She is super excited to be part of this show and to perform with her NDP theatre family.

Cece Dolphin (Annie) a junior, has absolutely cherished the last two years she’s spent as an actor at NDP. From getting killed in the first act of her first show, to being in the ensemble of her favorite musical ever, to bonding with two of the coolest upperclassmen ever as Fates in

Hadestown, she cannot thank her castmates and AMAZING crew members enough for making her high school experience so much richer and more fulfilling! She’s also incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share this role as Annie with one of her favorite people, Izzy Ignatius! She hopes you all enjoy the show!

Savannah Farr (Rachel) is a senior and thrilled to be in her third production at Notre Dame. Her most recent roles include Persephone U/S in Hadestown and Witch #1 in Macbeth. Outside of theater, she is a soprano in the Honors Saints Chorale, a student athletic trainer in NDP’s sports medicine program, a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society representative, and an ambassador for the Board of Visitors. When she graduates, Savannah is excited to pursue musical theater and singing in college on a pre-med track. She would like to thank Ms. Renee and Ms. Sequeira for their expertise and enthusiasm.

Joshua Funk (Max)a Junior, is relatively new to NDP drama, with his first stage production ever being Hadestown. He is excited to be a part of this program and part of the show: “The Play That Goes Wrong.” Joshua Funk loves music and plays the saxophone, piano, and guitar, and enjoys singing. Right now, he is working on the Italian Aria “Tu Lo Sai” for vocals, “There Will Never Be Another You” for saxophone, and transcribing “Easy Like” by Billy Taylor for piano. Joshua is so excited to be able to present the character of Max.

Devin Gough(Max) a senior, is a 6”3’ Kansas man good at absolutely everything he does. 1500 rated in chess, owns his own company, and is basically Batman. He would like to thank his friends and family for all their support!

Austin HeaveySeastone (Cornley Stage Crew)a sophomore and this is her second show at NDP. She’s especially excited to be able to work with her theatre family again. She’s also really excited to be able to work with her best friend Abby again. (P+B) She’s done plenty of musicals but never a play so she’s thrilled to grow her skills as an actor.

Frank Ignatius (Cornley Stage Crew)a freshman, is excited to be in his first prodution with the NDP Players. He would like to thank his family and friends for their support. Enjoy the show!

Izzy Ignatius (Annie) a junior, loves acting. Ever since freshman year she’s been in the shows at NDP. This character is so funny to play, and a turn around from the usual comic-relief character. She is super hyped to play Anne, she’s a hoot and a half.

Mia Kirstein (Cornley Stage Crew) a freshman, is so excited and honored to be on the NDP stage once again as a part of the Cornley Stage Crew! Although she is a freshman, this is her third NDP performance. Recent credits include Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts), Macbeth (Daughter of Macduff), Willy Wonka (Veruca Salt), and Anastasia (little Anastasia). When not on stage, Mia enjoys reading, music, and doing crafts. Mia would like to thank her wonderful family and friends for all of their love, care, and support. She hopes you enjoy The Play that Goes Wrong!

Maddie Levell (Taylor) a senior is excited to be a part of her favorite play and final Fall mainstage at NDP. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support. Enjoy the show!

Andrew McCoy (Jonathan) a junior has been in every mainstage production since playing Patrick O’Reilly in Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, his freshman year. He played the caveman ancestor in Addams Family, Angus in Macbeth, and most recently was in the ensemble of Hadestown. He would like to thank his fellow cast members, tech and actors, for their laughter, help, guidance, and friendship throughout this whole production, Rob, his counterpart, and his family for their love and support.

Keira McNelis (Chris)a senior, has been fortunate to play wonderful, dark, and brooding characters such as Lady Macbeth, Wednesday Addams, the “mean” Fate, and light-hearted characters such as… Oh wait. There weren’t any.She has been honored to appear in every NDP production during her four years at Notre Dame and is the president of Drama Club and Improv Club. Keira is an alumna of both OpenJar Institute Intensive on Broadway, NY, and Second City Chicago. She would like to thank the Committee, her family, friends, cast mates, and tech team. She would also like to thank her brother Ethan— oops, no space.

Ethan McNelis (Robert) a Sophomore is thrilled to be a part of the NDP Players’ production of The Play That Goes Wrong! He loves this show, and he is so grateful to have been a part of it. It has given him a wonderful opportunity to stretch himself and to try something new. He would like to thank his family, his friends, his castmates and crew, and the Bosa Donuts on 105th Street. Without their help, this would never have been possible. He is hopeful that this show has indeed gone wrong in the most spectacular of fashions.

Yancy Murphy (Cornley Stage Crew) a freshman, is thrilled to be part of this year’s production of The Play That Goes Wrong. A student at Notre Dame Preparatory, she is passionate about theatre, music, and creative storytelling. Some of her previous roles include “Wednesday” in The Addams Family, “Young Darla” in Mumblety Peg, and “Vampire Alexa” in We Are Monsters. She has also attended several FHYT classes and camps. When not on stage, Yancy enjoys singing, ballet, and sewing. She is grateful to the cast, crew, and especially to the director, Ms. Sequeira. Yancy hopes the audience enjoys every moment of the chaos!

Katie Palys (Denise) a sophomore, and is so excited to be in The Play That Goes Wrong. This is her third production at NDP. Her previous roles include acting as a witch in Macbeth and ensemble in Hadestown. Katie is honored to be a part of this theater department, and she loves working alongside such a talented cast, crew and director. Katie thanks her family and friends for their love and support.

Luke Peckham (Chris) a Junior at NDP has been involved in drama since freshman year, when he played Lurch in Addams Family. Since then, he has performed as King Duncan in Macbeth and most recently, Hermes in Hadestown last spring. He is thrilled to be playing Chris in The Play that Goes Wrong and would like to thank his family, friends, and incredible support system in the NDP Drama Club for getting him here.

Daphne Prince (Sandra) a freshman at Notre Dame Preparatory. Daphne is thrilled to be a part of this show with such an amazing cast and crew. She would like to thank everyone who was so welcoming and kind to her when she first joined the show. Despite missing everyone from Scottsdale Prep Academy, she is happy that she can now be a part of the wonderful theater program at NDP. She is very grateful to everyone who came to watch the play and support her. She hopes everyone enjoys watching the show as much as she enjoyed being a part of it.

Haley Rivard (Denise) a senior who’s super excited to be back for her second show! She played Eurydice in NDP’s production of Hadestown and is thrilled to be working on another project with this community. There’s nothing she loves more than to work with such a loving and talented group of actors and tech! She wants to thank her dad (THE Corey Rivard), mother dearest, family, and friends (but ESPECIALLY Harper, Ange, Tess, Chappy, Sage, and fellow actors) for all their love and support!! Enjoy her making fun of herself for the next hour-ish! :]

George Sein (Cornley Stage Crew)a senior, is so grateful to join the NDP Players for his first ever main stage performance. Prior to this, he has featured in the one-act comedies “Good Cop Bad Cop”, directed by Grace Hawksworth, and “The One-Act Play Disaster”, directed by Colton Holling. Outside of theatre, he is an avid wrestler and music critic. You can catch him browsing the farmer’s market, hiking Tom’s Thumb, or hitting the gym when he’s not caught up doing homework. He would like to thank his parents, friends, and little brother for their constant love and support.

Rob Sein(Jonathan) a sophomore, is a former techie who is now very grateful to have the opportunity to act in The Play That Goes Wrong. He generally has done tech such as in Macbeth, but he acted in the Spring musical, Hadestown: Teen Edition. He is eternally thankful for the community, theater has provided him and would like to thank his friends and family for their continued support of his endeavors, even as they keep changing. When offstage, he can be found bouldering or stressing to appease his history teacher.

Martha Sequeira (Cornley Stage Crew) a freshman, is an inventive and artistic girl who loves performing arts, story writing, and all forms of media. This will be her first ever production at Notre Dame Preparatory Academy, and her first ever performance. She is excited to be apart of this amazing production, and share the hard work everyone has put into the show. When she is not performing, she spends her time drawing, writing stories, and playing Dungeons and Dragons. She would like to give a great thanks to her family and friends for all their support and kindness.

Valentina Spong (Cornley Stage Crew) a freshman, is thrilled to be a part of her first production at NDP. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support! Enjoy the show!

Sage Wilson (Cornley Stage Crew) a sophomore Sage Wilson is a sophomore who is playing Cornley Drama Society’s lighting and sound director, Taylor Perez. This is her third mainstage production at NDP and in the past she has starred as a witch in Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Chorus in Hadestown. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support.

Meet the NDP Tech Crew

Madison Beams (Deck Crew) a Freshman is a new edition to the tech team, and theater world. While she has never done a show, she has seen many and has always loved the theatre scene. When not building sets, Madison sings, plays piano, and incorporates all kinds of art into her free time. She is so excited to be able to share her talents through the set and art designs you will see on stage. She thanks her friends for constant inspiration. And she thanks her family for all the love and support they give her.

Natalya Bisser (Deck Crew)a Sophomore in my first year working in tech, and is excited to be learning the ropes behind the scenes. She enjoys exploring different areas like set design, and stage management, and always ready to jump in and help wherever she is needed. What she loves most about tech is being part of the teamwork that brings a production to life and all the details that make the show run smoothly. Right now, she is focused on gaining experience, building her skills, and discovering where she best fits in the world of theater production.

Ava Butaney (Deck Crew & Spot)a senior, is on tech this year. This is her third show doing tech for NDP. She would like to thank her friends and family for this wonderful opportunity and experience.

Jace DeGrenier (Wardrobe Crew & Apprentice Set Designer)a Freshman, is excited to be joining the tech team. He enjoys set design and has enjoyed assisting Lauren Igel in the design of this year’s set

Gianna DiCaudo (Deck Crew) a sophomore at Notre Dame Prep. This is her 3rd performance as part as tech. Outside of theatre, she enjoys being in numerous clubs and cross country. Her favorite parts about tech is the wholesome, friendly community, being able to be apart of something meaningful, and the power tools.

AJ Dixon (Costume Designer & Wardrobe Crew)a Junior is an actor and costume designer. Recent productions include Macbeth, Hadestown, and Addam’s Family. She has been part of the NDP players since her freshman year. When not on stage, she enjoys singing and making costumes. Her most recent work was Persephone’s green dress in Hadestown. This is her first show as a part of tech crew and second year as a part of the costume team. She wants to thank her mom for all of her amazing support and encouragement throughout the show.

Jonathan Hatsakorzian (Deck Crew) a Sophmore who has been participating in NDP theater for 1 year. He is excited to be a part of the Play that Goes Wrong cast and crew. He would like to thank his family and all of NDP theater for this opportunity. He has been involved in Hadestown, Macbeth, and other middle school shows.

Rossi Henderson (Assitant SM) a sophomore, in her third show at NDP. She previously participated in tech for Macbeth and Hades Town. She would like to thank her parents for their support. She would also like to thank Jack and Sophia for their help and guidance.

Lauren Igel (Light Designer)a Senior and has been participating in theater at NDP for four years. She is extremely excited to be a part of the tech crew for her final Fall Play. She last worked on the set and lights of Hadestown and Macbeth. This is Lauren’s sixth time light designing and her fifth time as a scenic designer and painter. She thanks her family for all their love and support and hopes nothing goes wrong!

Lucia Johnston (Deck Crew & Apprentice Costumer)a freshman is in her first NDP play. She wants to thank her parents and the teacher who helped me get to this point. “Thank you, Ms. Sequeira and AJ, for helping me and teaching me to sew. Also, to my parents, who have supported me through all of this and loved me through it. Last but not least, thank you to my three best friends, Yancy, Maria, and Sophie, for being here with me.”

Samantha Lika (Wardrobe Crew) a Junior is excited to be taking part in another NDP production. Last year she worked primarily as an actress. This semester she joins the tech team again as a part of Wardrobe.

Giana Manzella (Deck Crew) a freshman, is joining tech for the first time at Notre Dame. While in her free time she enjoys doing arts and crafts. When going to plays with her mom she became inspired and wanted to take on this role of building sets and behind the scenes. Giana has really fallen in love with this work and hopes to do it the future for her next few years of high school. She would like to owe a special thanks to her family for always believing and supporting her.

Tess Matura (Deck Crew) a senior is thrilled to be apart of this bound to be fabulous production. Tess is very excited to see a new side of theater as she goes backstage to help with Tec. Tess would like to end her bio by saying thank you to her family and friends for everything!

Sabini Morawa (Deck Crew) a junior is excited to be a part of the crew. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support throughout this process. Enjoy the show.

Amara Plache (Deck Crew) is a freshman at NDP. This is her first mainstage production with the NDP Players. She is very excited to be a part of the The Play That Goes Wrong crew. She would like to thank her family and friends for all the support!

Sophia Qualantone (Stage Manager) a junior at Notre Dame is excited to once again be stage managing. Sophia has been a part of the stage management team since her sophomore year. She is thankful for her team and all the tech crew who are under her leadership. Break a leg!

Sophia Plache (Deck Crew) a junior, is so excited to be teching her third mainstage at NDP! Last year, she was part of the deck crew for Macbeth and Hadestown, and she is happy to be part of the stage management team for The Play That Goes Wrong. When Sophia is not backstage, you can find her playing the viola or reading a good book. She would like to thank all of her friends and family for their love and support!

Harrison Ponterio (Deck Crew) a freshman is excited to be a part of his first production. He has enjoyed getting to know everyone and learning new skills. He would like to thank his family and friends for their support.

Penny Ponterio (Deck Crew) a junior is in her third year as part of the NDP theater department. She is excited to work on her fifth production. Penny would like to thank her family and friends for all their support.

Chase Taris (Deck Crew) joined theatre at NDP in the spring of 2025, making this the second show that he has done Tech Crew for. Chase sincerely enjoys his roles in building sets and assisting backstage during shows. He is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to get to know a group of such amazing and talented people as those in theatre. He thanks his family for being incredibly supportive and for inspiring him to always strive to put in as much effort as he possibly can into everything that he does.

Jack Tobin (Stage Manager) a junior doing his fifth mainstage at NDP and would like to make it very clear that any technical difficulties during the show are not his fault. He has previously done sound design and operation the past two years as well as being assistant stage manager last year. In addition to being stage manager, Jack is also vice president of the drama club, and is in the jazz band and on the wrestling team. He would like to thank Ms. Sequeira, Mr. Sequeira, Mr. Levine, all the actors and especially the techie army for all their hard work.

Amelia Wicker (Deck Crew)a freshman, is an artist who loves to paint and draw. Her experience painting on a larger scale has been a great asset to set building, which helps because is her first time doing tech. In her free time, she paints with many different mediums and is involved with her church community. She thanks her parents for providing the materials that started her artistic journey.

Charlotte Wicker (Deck Crew)a junior, is excited to be a part of this play! She loves helping out at tech and has previously done tech for The Adams Family. Outside of school she likes to go camping with her scout troop, babysit, do sports med, go to youth group, and spend time with friends. She thanks her family for always supporting her in what she does.
