Bell Schedule

NDP’s daily schedule has been modified to a block schedule. Studies show that a block schedule allows for in-depth instruction, application, feedback and reflection. Whether the students are learning fully online, fully on-campus or in a hybrid model, the block schedule will maximize student learning and allows us to implement safe distancing and COVID-19 safety practices.

The Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday schedule is consistent, incorporating four classes, daily House time and three break periods. If a hybrid schedule is required, each student will be assigned to a Purple or Gold grouping via their House designation. Students in the gold grouping will be on-campus on Monday/Tuesday and will attend online Thursday/Friday. Students in the purple grouping will be attending online Monday/Tuesday and will attend oncampus on Thursday/Friday.

The Wednesday schedule is unique with all classes meeting for shorter time periods and ending with an early dismissal time that allows for faculty continued professional learning. If we are operating fully on campus, student learning and instruction will take place on campus. If we are operating fully online or in a hybrid model, student learning and instruction will take place online from home. This shortened Wednesdsay schedule will allow for thorough campus cleaning and faculty and staff professional development.

PURPLE/GOLD HYBRID SCHEDULE
