Since 2002, our inaugural year, NDP has been strengthening minds, bodies and souls by integrating a faith-based, college prep curriculum with vibrant, thriving co-curricular activities.
With an overall population of 988, and an average of 21 students per class, Notre Dame Prep offers the perfect combination of “small school” connections to faculty, counselors, and administration, with “big school” co-curricular opportunities on the court, field, stage, studio, and beyond.

Faith
Faith is an integral part of life at Notre Dame Prep. We fully trust in the tenets and mission of the Catholic Church to allow students to be disciples of God, so that they might go forth and improve the world.
Parents are the primary religious educators and nurturers of their children’s spirituality, and we partner with parents by offering a vibrant faith life on campus.
8 Houses, One Community of Saints
The House System at Notre Dame Prep sets us apart from most high schools in the Valley. Our student body is divided into eight Houses. They build community, mentorship and opportunities for growth and leadership. But mostly, they provide a place where each student, faculty and staff member has a place to belong.
The goal is to find and foster the brilliance in each student and to give each soul on campus a place where they are embraced by their fellow House members while building a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to live in true discipleship.
Being a member of a House gives our students time throughout the day for real interpersonal interaction with students from all grades and members of our faculty and staff. The House System allows students to be recognized for more than just GPA or athletic achievement, but for their human kindness.
Our Houses are named for great Saints throughout the ages. With the name, each House represents a key virtue of their Saint: fortitude, selflessness, sacrifice, integrity, strength, tenacity, humility, charity, courage, and loyalty.
The Houses compete for House points through academics, Christian service, school spirit, and enthusiastic competitions, while demonstrating Reverence, Respect and Responsibility toward each other. The House that earns the most points receives the coveted House of the Year Award!
Christian Service
Notre Dame Preparatory is unwavering in its commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church. We educate our students to understand their place in this world as servant leaders, especially to serve those who are less fortunate and marginalized. As part of our graduation requirements, students are expected to complete a minimum of 120 hours of Christian service with many going above and beyond. In fact, during the 2024-25 school year, students logged more than 24,000 Christian service hours.
Globally, our students organize fundraisers for hurricane victims and supply drives for underserved schools. They travel on mission trips around the world to help those in need.
School-wide service events include campus beautification projects and assisting with school fundraisers and community building events. Notre Dame Prep was recognized as a Global Level Platinum High School by Catholic Relief Services for its dedication to advancing Catholic social teachings and compassion for the poor worldwide.
Athletics
NDP Championships
The Notre Dame Preparatory athletic programs are an integral part of the fabric of our community with more than 80% of students participating in AIA or club sports. We compete locally, regionally and nationally in 30 interscholastic sports and activities. We are proud of our athletic tradition and success, winning 78 state championships – most recently in girls tennis doubles, beach volleyball, golf, and track and field individual events. We are committed to providing young men and women with dynamic opportunities for personal growth and formation through athletics that will impact each of them for a lifetime.
With our history of success, we moved all our athletic teams up to the AIA 5A Conference (even though NDP’s enrollment is that of a 3A school). We challenge our teams and individual athletes to compete against schools much larger in size - but not in heart. In NDP’s first year competing at the 5A level, our boys golf team finished the season as the 5A state runner-up, both boys and girls basketball teams qualified for AIA open championship playoffs, and both football and girls volleyball were 5A state semifinalists.
We offer four club sports: hockey, boys and girls lacrosse, figure skating and mountain biking. Our D1 hockey team has a legacy of being one of the top teams every year. In 2023-24 they finished as the state runner-up for the second straight year.
Arts
The Fine Arts Department at NDP seeks to maximize the creative potential in each student. NDP students are encouraged to explore the arts. Art students enhance their individual creativity while collaborating with and supporting each other.
Through NDP’s many arts programs, students find their niche while discovering hidden talents. We offer many classes including choir, guitar orchestra, jazz ensemble, drawing, painting. ceramics, photography, acting, dance and digital video production.
Our Drama students won local acclaim for their production of Anastasia in 2023, The Addams Family in 2024 and Hadestown: Teen Edition in 2025. Hadestown garnered 13 HSMTA nominations and the production finished 5th in State!
We are the leading high school in digital video production, thanks to our student’s impressive work with NDP Live! . Our teams both behind and in front of the camera have won many awards.
Each semester we sponsor a Fine Arts Festival held on campus in the St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Center with artwork produced by our talented artists and entertainment provided by our performing arts students.
In keeping with the Catholic tradition of forming humble servants, our performing and visual arts students find opportunities each year to share their talents with those in need.

We want students to feel prepared to attend the college of their choosing and immediately pursue a career that will bring them meaning. These are not “locked-in” paths, but opportunities for students to gain real experience and foundational skills to aid them in their future endeavors. With our 8-period schedule, students can take additional specialized classes, providing more opportunities to explore and refine their career interests. Notre Dame Preparatory, a Diocesan Catholic High School, was founded in 2002 by a group of committed citizens who wanted to bring a Catholic high school to Scottsdale. With the help of the Diocese of Phoenix, NDP was able to secure a bond to purchase a private elementary school campus. This campus has grown to encompass a gymnasium, chapel, two-story classroom building and stadium complex. Most recently, NDP opened the St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Center (PAC).
The PAC is named after St. Catherine of Bologna, the Patron Saint of the Arts. The 20,000-square foot building houses NDP’s instrumental musical education classrooms, and choir, dance, drama and digital video studios. We have also added classes in stagecraft and set design.
As we consider the ever-changing landscape of education, it is important for us to think forward to advance our Catholic mission by preparing our students for life beyond NDP. Part of that process includes investing in the facilities that support our Catholic calling and modern-day learning.
As soon as the funds are secured, NDP anticipates moving quickly to address other needs. Some of those priorities include the completion of the stadium complex, STEM classrooms, and an auxiliary gym, among other projects.

A visit provides a valuable opportunity to experience campus life and to gather more information about what it means to be a Saint!
SHADOW DAYS & PRIVATE TOURS

8th grade students from around the Valley are welcomed to campus for an exciting experience that highlights all the best of NDP. Participants will have a chance to talk to current students and faculty, tour the campus, and meet new friends. OPEN
HOUSE | November 16 | 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Join us for an interactive experience for the entire family. Visit our campus and learn about academics, spiritual life and co-curricular activities. Studentguided tours and family activities highlight the day, but there are many other reasons to join us in November. Meet our principal and members of the administration, faculty, coaches, current and former parents. Guests are welcome to visit with department chairs and student leaders of clubs and athletics. This interactive experience is extremely valuable for families in the high school decision-making process. HSPT ENTRANCE EXAM | December 6 and 13 | 7 a.m. - 11 a.m.
The HSPT will be offered on the NDP campus on Saturday, December 6 and 13, 2025. To register visit our website ndpsaints.org/admissions.
HSPT PREP CLASS
Get a leg up on the HSPT exam by attending one or both of our prep classes set for 8 a.m to 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1. On Oct 25, we will cover the English portion of the HSPT exam. Nov. 1 will cover the Math portion of the HSPT exam.

TUITION & FEES FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
• FULL RATE: $21,500
• CATHOLIC DISCOUNT: $3,700 off full rate (for registered Catholics who are participating members of their parishes)
• Annual registration fee $600
• Senior graduation fee $200
• Laptops for incoming students must be no more than 2 years old. Latest version of macOS or Windows 10 required (ndpsaints.org - QuicklinksTechnology)
• Students purchase their own books (textbook/ebooks)
• Uniform purchases through Anton Uniforms or NDP used uniform sales
• AP exam fees paid to the provider
• Team sports require payment for all consumables (practice uniforms, team meals, traveling expenses, etc.)
• Families encouraged to contribute to the NDP annual Saints Fund which supports immediate campus priorities
FINANCIAL AID
We want anyone who desires a Notre Dame Prep faith-based, college-preparatory education to receive it. Financial aid is available to students through Catholic Education Arizona (CEA), Arizona Empowerment Savings Accounts, and the Notre Dame Preparatory (NDP) Financial Aid.
• CEA - Applications are available beginning in the spring semester at fairapp.com for students registered at Notre Dame Preparatory. The NDP school code is 700 and the school password is cea700.
• ESA – Applications are available around May 1st of the year before school begins. (azed.gov/esa)
• NDP Financial Aid – Applications can be submitted May 1st. This is based on need and has other requirements the you can see on our website. (ndpsaints.org/admissions)
OTHER SOURCES OF FINANCIAL AID
Families will need to choose annually between tax credit funds and ESA. Families can also apply to other Arizona tax credit organizations for additional tuition assistance. Please visit our Admissions website for tuition and financial aid information and a list of tax credit organizations.
