We hold one parent-teacher-student conference night on campus each year in the fall. The conferences will be held by teacher invitation specifically for those students who need some intervention, support, or a plan for improvement. Students will be required to accompany their parents to the conferences. More details will be made available about these conferences in late August. For those parents who wish to meet, teachers are always available by phone, email or appointment. Access the faculty directory by using the QR code to the right
The Testing Center is a quiet environment where students who require extended time for testing can go to complete their classroom exams and standardized tests without distraction or interruption. This location is for students who have accommodations in place with Notre Dame Prep. Use the QR code to learn more about academic support

Supervised after-school tutoring for every subject is available to all students by members of the National Honor Society. Please check with our counselors for more details. Tutoring is provided after school daily. Students who are struggling or receiving failing grades should avail themselves of this valuable service

The Dog Pound is our school-wide student section and spirit community. Every student is part of the Dog Pound and is encouraged to attend athletic events, performances, and other school activities to cheer on the Saints. Throughout the year, students can participate in spirit weeks, themed events, and opportunities to show school pride while supporting all NDP programs, including athletics, the arts, clubs, and other student activities
The Dog Pound Student Council is a team of elected student leaders who build school spirit, plan events like Homecoming, Prom, Smiles for Christmas, Dancing with the Stars, and pep rallies, and represent the student voice. Members enroll in a Leadership class and help support all areas of student life. Freshmen can apply and interview for the new Freshman Council to begin developing their leadership skills.
The House System at Notre Dame Prep sets us apart from most high schools in the Valley. Our student body is divided into eight Houses that build community, mentorship and opportunities for growth and leadership. But mostly, they provide a place where each student, faculty and staff member has place to belong.
There are plenty of ways to get involved! Beyond dances, athletic events, and assemblies, students can choose from a variety of clubs, from baking, debate, hiking and the arts. Clubs meet before or after school or during breaks, and many include off-campus activities. A parent permission form is required for each club. Don't see a club that fits your interests? Start one! For more information, email Mr. Sedillos, Asst. Principal
Notre Dame Prep has ten honor societies that are prestigious, merit-based student organizations. Membership signifies a well-rounded student by evaluating four core pillars: Scholarship (academic excellence), Leadership, Service (community volunteering), and Character. There are honor societies for American Sign Language, Theater, Athletics, Mathematics, English, Dance Arts, Spanish, Science, Social Studies, and the National Honor Society

To participate in sports in the 2026-27 school year, all athletes must register online to be cleared and approved before the first tryout or practice. The NDP Athletic Department uses a secure registration platform, Final Forms, that provides our families with a safe, easy and user-friendly way to register for Notre Dame Prep athletics.
Clear bags are required at all home events and on campus activities. Only factory-sealed, plastic water bottles are permitted, no outside food or drink allowed at on-campus NDP events. No containers, including Stanleys, Yetis, hydroflasks, tumblers, cups, coolers, jugs, bottles or similar receptacles, are allowed. No animals are allowed on the NDP campus or athletic facilities. Properly marked and credentialed service animals are welcome.
Use GoFan for all of NDP's home game ticket sales for friends and family. Students with ID get into games free. Tickets available for football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, track and field, softball, and flag football. Or, purchase Samson’s Family Activity Pass to use at all ticketed regular season home athletic games, as well as all drama performances, and get an invitation to our Homecoming Tailgate event.
Just as in academics, students are urged to advocate for themselves in athletics, House, and club events. Developing this essential skill is crucial as you share your love of Christ with the world.

At NDP, we encourage you to use our communication chain if you have any questions or concerns on campus. Students, should a concern arise during an athletic season, House, or club event, the following procedure should be followed:
To help you and your fellow students build self-advocacy skills, the first line of communication should always be with your coach, head of House, or club moderator
After you have communicated with the coach, head of House, or moderator, your parents can contact them directly via email, if necessary
If an athletic issue remains unresolved, your parent should then communicate the concern with the Athletic Director, Dennis Coyle - dcoyle@ndpsaints org.

At Notre Dame Prep, our counselors are educators who promote success for today’s students. They are uniquely trained in adolescent development, learning strategies, self-management, and social skills
With a low counselor-to-student ratio, our students receive individual and personal attention. NDP’s proactive, comprehensive school counseling program focuses on
Academic achievement Personal/social development
College and career preparation
Counselors collaborate with teachers and parents on early identification and intervention of students’ academic and social/emotional needs

Students must come to school fully prepared for the day. The front office will not accept dropped-off items, including food, beverages, technology, and homework Please do not try to bypass this policy, as learning from mistakes is an essential part of high school.

The Diocesan Code of Discipline directs that “Parents or legal guardians are expected to support teachers and administrators and to recognize that disciplinary action entails the exercise of judgment, often under pressing circumstances.” (Diocesan Handbook 3-1.4.17 C.4).
Serious consideration is given to every disciplinary action taken. We urge our students and parents to act with Reverence, Respect, and Responsibility.
If a student misbehaves, disciplinary measures will be implemented. For further details, please consult the Student/Parent Handbook.
If the principal determines that a parent or guardian's actions, attitudes, or behavior conflict with the school's mission, policies, or directives from administration, or if they fail to cooperate with the NDP disciplinary policy, the student may be excluded from continued enrollment.

The St. Aloysius Gonzaga Program assists those students who demonstrate academic potential and a desire to learn but need extra support navigating NDP’s college preparatory curriculum successfully. The program includes an increased focus on English, mathematics and organization skills.
JOSEPH THE WORKER - Academic Resource Center (ARC)
The St. Joseph the Worker Program offers academic support services for college-bound students with diagnosed learning differences. These services include classroom accommodations as appropriate according to students’ individual support plans Students may or may not be offered placement in the ARC based on:
Results of a psycho-educational evaluation, Individual student needs,
A team decision by the St. Joseph the Worker Program (ARC), Overall student performance within the program.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Program is an integrated program of study that extends the challenging, well-rounded education of Notre Dame Prep’s most gifted and motivated students. The program of study stimulates academic and personal development through rigorous courses, unique cultural and academic field experiences, and advanced research opportunities

Under the patronage of Our Lady, everything that we do at Notre Dame Preparatory is aimed at the formation of the whole person – body, mind, and soul The great love of God shines through in every academic department, each athletic team, and all clubs and activities. Formation in the Roman Catholic faith is woven into the fabric of being a Saint. Together, our community experiences:
Transformative Retreats - From our initial Freshman Welcome and our immersive mission experiences to our powerful KAIROS retreat, NDP Saints have multiple opportunities to spend quality time with God and one another. Likewise, faculty, staff and parents are encouraged to take advantage of retreat opportunities, and special formation events, tailored to them.

Engaging Prayer & Worship - NDP is actively engaged in prayer and worship every day. We celebrate Mass, pray together as a school, and observe a daily student-led Examen. We celebrate the seasons and devotions that add richness to our faith. We bring our gifts and talents in music and the arts to draw one another deeper into God’s beauty.
Passionate Christian Service - Every student at NDP is actively engaged in serving others. Our Christian Service Learning program is an important graduation requirement designed to connect our students’ passions with their God given gifts. We provide many opportunities for students to serve and encourage them to create their own events and projects
Meaningful Campus Ministry - In different places, Pope Leo has said that joy cannot be found through electronic devices. The pope has emphasized cultivating human interaction. To help students grow in human interaction, we engage in peer ministry, fun youth group-style activities, and small group faith formation. We form students for the sacraments and celebrate them together
If you have any special intentions or prayer requests, we are here for you! Your prayer request is a sacred trust and will be kept confidential. For a prayer or Mass intention, please reach out

NDP meal purchases are cashless. No Cash is accepted as payment for on-campus food purchases.
Student lunch accounts are managed using your e-Funds for Schools account and your student's PowerSchool ID.
Your student's account needs to be pre-funded to order lunch. You will receive an email if the lunch balance goes below $10. This email is sent on Fridays.

Students MUST fill out the Health Office Information Form before school begins
Students MUST report to the nurse's office for evaluation in case of illness or injury while at school. The nurse will determine the student's condition and decide whether the student should go home or stay at school.
The nurse, not the student, will contact the parents regarding a student’s health. No student may use his/her cell phone to request a pick-up All arrangements must be made by the school nurse Diocese policy prohibits the nurse from providing or dispensing any prescription medications without written permission from the student's parent or guardian.
Medications must be provided in the original, sealed, and labeled container with the signed Medication Permission Form, to be administered by a school nurse. A new form must be completed each school year
Students are not allowed to carry medication. It must be dispensed through the health office, except for rescue medications (emergency inhalers and EpiPens), which require a Self-Carry Release Form

STORE - Home of Spirit Wear and NDP Gear!

The Saints Store is your one-stop shop for NDP spirit wear and gear. On Fridays during the school year, students may wear most NDP spirit gear purchased through the Saints Store (no sleeveless or cropped items) with their uniform bottoms. Stock up early for all your Dog Pound spirit dress needs!
Store hours: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2-3 p.m.
Saints Store is located in the gym lobby
During school hours, parents must sign in at the front office before going to the store
Our Online Store is where parents and students can purchase school team attire and club shirts. You can also pay for team banquet fees and field trip fees, among other miscellaneous school items.

Throughout the year, we hold used uniform sales, made possible by generous donations from NDP families. Keep an eye out for announcements in the Saints News email, on NDP’s social media, and during student announcements. If you have any outgrown spirit wear or uniforms to donate, please ensure they are gently used, cleaned, and bagged, and drop them in the bin located outside NDP’s front office. Uniforms are collected year-round.

We want Notre Dame Preparatory to be accessible to anyone who wants a topnotch Catholic education. Our tuition does not fully cover the cost of educating each student.
Our advancement team works year-round to raise the money necessary to close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of teaching each NDP student. We host a variety of events to build relationships and generate revenue streams. This helps take our students’ experience to the next level
NDP Fund is our top fundraising priority and runs annually from July 1 - June 30. Dollars raised through the NDP Fund campaign allow us to tackle the immediate needs of our school; from technology and facilities to athletic equipment and tuition assistance. All our events and fundraisers benefit NDP Fund.
We offer business owners plenty of opportunities to advertise to loyal constituents in the NDP community. Choose from everything from banners on Loop Road to digital ads on scoreboard.
Support school events while promoting your brand. Event sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available at all levels and include substantial recognition and benefits.

Many years ago, our Advisory School Board started the Faculty and Staff Christmas Fund. This tradition helps make holiday gift-giving to faculty and staff easier for parents and is very appreciated by NDP employees. This gift-giving event begins in November
Scottsdale in December is the perfect time for a round of golf at the gorgeous Grayhawk Golf Club. Our annual “best-ball” scramble format golf tournament is designed for golfers of all abilities. There are fun games, a putting contest and a silent auction for added excitement. Organize a foursome or come as a single and join us for a wonderful day on the links! Join us in December.
Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday) is a special day at NDP. Our students work to raise as much money in one day as possible. The money raised goes directly into NDP Fund.
The Auction Fashion Show (AFS) is our largest fundraiser of the year and gives our entire community a glamorous night while supporting our mission. After dinner and a fast-paced auction, we put on a spring fashion show, featuring our seniors as the models! It is a wonderful tradition at NDP with fun for parents from all grade levels. Join the fun this May

For those wishing to make a lasting charitable contribution to our school, such as appreciated stocks, bequests, or a donation to our endowment fund, please contact Jennah Parker at jparker@ndpsaints.org to discuss tax strategies.

At NDP, technology is integrated into all aspects of the curriculum. Each student is required to provide their own laptop.
The IT department assists with troubleshooting, but students are responsible for repairing their devices. Email IT for assistance
To enrich each student’s educational experience, all phones must be turned off and secured in a zipped backpack until the end of the school day

Don’t worry about having books on the first day, teachers will provide materials for first weeks of school until materials arrive.
Math and science eBooks, are purchased by the school in bulk and then the parents are billed on their tuition account when the access codes are distributed to students. eBook costs are listed on the class syllabus.

When students arrive at school, they are to enter the campus through the closest gate. The Front Office is not a student entrance before or after the school day. However, students should use the Front Office entrance when arriving late to school or leaving early.

The partnership between NDP faculty, staff, alumni, and parents is vital to the growth and success of our students and institution. We invite parents and alumni to volunteer, join our parent and alumni associations, and actively take part in the mission and vision of our school.
To begin volunteering, you must complete the Safe Environment Training (SET) through the Diocese of Phoenix to gain campus access. All parent and alumni volunteers are required to finish the online SET introductory course and renew it each year. Renewals should be completed after July 1 annually
For the safety of our campus, all volunteers and visitors MUST sign in and sign out at the front desk. There are no exceptions.
The Advancement Office uses parent and alumni volunteers for our annual fundraising and community-building events including our Culinary Festival, Golf Tournament, and Auction Fashion Show. Please contact Heather Weurding at hweurding@ndpsaints org if you would like to get involved.
Mothers’ Guild, Advisory School Board, Saints Supporters Club, and the Alumni Association serve as vehicles for parents and alumni to engage in the life of the school and bolster the NDP experience. Involved parents and alumni share in fun and lasting friendships while building a cohesive community. Through these organizations, parents and alumni can volunteer, socialize, pray, and grow the NDP family
