STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Clubs

We offer more than 30 student-led clubs at NDP for students who have hobbies beyond athletics and academics. From the Adventure Club and E-Sports to Baking Club and PAWS Club; there is something for everyone!

Students are encouraged to join a club early as a way to make friends who share their passions and interests. If a club of interest does not exist, students are able to create one with other like-minded individuals.

Dog Pound Student Council

Dog Pound Student Council members are elected student leaders who are responsible for planning student activities, dances and for igniting school spirit at athletic events and around campus. The Dog Pound Student Council will be charged with specifically developing and implementing plans for dances, pep rallies and the effective and appropriate running of our student spirit section.

The Coordinator of Student Activities, oversees both the Dog Pound Student Council and Clubs.

The Notre Dame Preparatory athletic programs are an integral part of the fabric of the NDP community with more than 80% of students participating in AIA or club sports. NDP competes locally, regionally and nationally in 27 interscholastic sports and activities. We are very proud of our athletic tradition and success, winning 58 state championships –most recently in Boys Discus and Girls Tennis Doubles. Our commitment is to provide young men and women with dynamic opportunities for personal growth and formation through athletics that will impact each of them for a lifetime.

To participate in sports during the 2023-24 school year, all athletes must register online to be cleared and approved before the first tryout or practice. The NDP Athletic Department uses the secure registration platform, FinalForms, which provides our families with a safe, easy and user-friendly way to register for Notre Dame Prep athletics. All students must upload a new physical form (performed after 3/1/23), while new and transfer students must also complete the Brainbook and Opioid Course and upload the completed certificate.
