DARE TO LEAD February 2013 NEW CAMPER INCENTIVE PROGRAM: Have your friends sign up to go camp and get rewarded. 1. If you attend camp this summer and, 2. You refer a new camper to attend camp (a new camper is someone who has never attended camp or has not attended for four (4) years), 3. Then you can earn some great prizes!! Refer 2 – 3 new campers to earn an NDFU T-shirt. Refer 4 – 5 new campers to earn an NDFU hoodie. Refer 6 – 10 new campers to earn a $50 gift card. Refer 11 – 15 new campers to earn a Nintendo 3DS. Refer 16 – 20 new campers to earn an iPad. Refer over 20 new campers to earn an Apple Laptop. To earn credit for a referred camper, they must put your name on their registration form on the “referred by” line. Awards will be determined after the camping season is completed and handed out at county conventions.

Camp Dates: Time for another fun-filled Farmers Union summer. Look inside for the 2013 camp dates. Registration starts March 1, 2013. Learn about the new camper incentive program and get your friends to go to camp too!!

Senior Youth Award trip letters have been sent out. If you think you qualified for an award, but did not receive a letter, contact Marsha at the state office at 1-800-366-8331 ext 105.

Forrest Carlson, Adam Long, Kyle Knutson, RaeLyn Leier and Dakota Jilek, the 2013 SYAC are hard at work planning camp. They met in November at State Convention and will be meeting again in March to finalize camp plans. The camp T-shirt is designed, project has been decided, theme nights are planned and camp

NEW DORMS & BATHROOMS The dorm remodel has begun and is scheduled to be completed before the first camp in 2013. The dorms were extended and brand new bathrooms have been added to the existing building. This means there will be room for more campers to come to camp.

Junior Youth Registration for camp starts March 1, 2013. Watch your mailbox for your registration form. Don’t forget to attend day classes. Contact your county organization for more information.
