Welcome
On behalf of the North Devon Football League, I am delighted to welcome you to this evening’s Brayford Cup Final.
The Brayford Cup, a prestigious competition in local football, was generously bequeathed by the late Charles Slader in 1964. Since the 1965-66 season, when it was first won by Barnstaple Town, this cup has been fiercely contested by clubs from the top division.
Tonight’s final sees Boca Seniors 1st take on Torridgeside 2nd—two outstanding teams who have demonstrated remarkable skill and determination to reach this stage. We look forward to an exciting and competitive match and wish both clubs the very best of luck.

This evening’s final is being held at Mill Road, the home of Barnstaple Town FC, to whom we extend our sincere thanks for the use of their ground and facilities. Following the final whistle, there will be a presentation ceremony. Proceedings will begin with the ‘Man of the Match’ award, proudly sponsored by Peak Online. This will be followed by the presentation of League medals to our match officials, before the runners-up receive their cup final medals. Then, the new Brayford Cup champions will be awarded their medals, culminating in the presentation of the trophy to the victorious team’s captain.
The North Devon Football League warmly encourages all spectators to stay for the presentation and to congratulate all those involved in what promises to be a fantastic evening of football. We hope that players, officials, and supporters enjoy the game, and we wish both teams the very best of luck in the Brayford Cup Final 2025.
