elcometoNewDimensionsEvangelism’s 2025YearinReview!
2025turnedouttobequiteanadventure.Thekindyoudon’t fully understand while you’re in it, but when you look back, yourealizehowmuchgroundwascovered!
From large church stages to small secular venues, I had the privilege of encouraging, inspiring, and sharing the love of Christ in ways that felt both creative and personal. Some days that meant standing in front of a thousand students in a public school here in America. Other days it meant sitting with a small group of children in the Dominican Republic, laughter bouncing off the walls as parables and puppets carriedtruthinwaysthatwordsalonesometimescan’t.
Along the way, we also created and shared new resources for those who minister to both young and old. Every one of them offered freely, made possible by the faithful generosity offriendslikeyou.Yoursupportdoesn’tjustkeepeventson a calendar. It places tools in the hands of leaders who are shapingliveseverysingleweek.
As you turn these pages, you’ll see more than dates and destinations. You’ll see how God continues to use creativity, hospitality, and a little holy curiosity to reach hearts. Shall we begin?

January23-25,Columbus,Ohio MagiFest. Three days with fellow magicians where I got to be a student again. Watching other artists work, learning new approaches, trading secrets of the craft it reminded me why I fell in love with magic in the first place. It was a real pleasure watching Madi, a highly skilled performer who was born with no hands. Sometimes you need to step away from performing to remember what makes performing matter.

June
CurioserandCurioser, RightWhereIAm
The last few summers I've slowed the traveling way down, and even my local performances, due to the church responsibilities that I lead. This year the VBS that I directed for First Baptist Mount Dora brought in more than 300 kids a day. I also took church kids to camp which is so different for me chaperoning kids instead of being on stagespeakingtothem!
June 8 & 9, Orlando These two evenings found me back at WonderWorks kicking off their summer series of shows. I'm always amazed that in this room that holds about 125 people, how many languages and cultures can be present at one time. I think that's why I enjoyit connectingwithpeopleacrosscultures.
June 10, Groveland I popped over to share an afternoon of fun. At this show, a young mom came in with her young son. His first magic show. His first magic show! Which was wonderful, as his mom used towatchmewhenshewasasmallchild, too!

Surprise! This month I also received in the mail a very special book, titled Saving Magic by my friend Michael Claxton.Ittellsthestoryoffamedartof magic historian David Price of Brentwood, Tennessee. David was a dear friend to me in my late teens and early twenties and Michael was kind enough to share a bit of that story in his book!

July

It was a lighter month performance and travel wise—but I needed the downtime! With a lighter schedule, I got to take friends to Sarasota for the summer circus series. Although with my position at First Baptist always keeps me busy as we prepared our annual Clothes For Kids Drive—where we help clothe over 1000 kids before school begins!
July 1, Mount Dora We launched The Big KidMin Check In, a survey of the state of children's ministry throughout the world! (See more at theQRcodelink.)
July 3, Mount Dora I was asked by the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce to help promote a magical summerinMountDora—whichwouldleaduptothe MountDoraMagicBash, soitwasadelighttoheaddowntotheold train station to be featured on Magic 107, a long-time radio station in Central Florida. After some fun banter with the morning DJ's I did a couple of mind-reading bits on air. True! Three people called in to say "they couldn't see how it worked!" (Joke!) It was a great waytokickoffthesummer!

October 6, Orlando, Florida WonderWorks; it had been just about a month since I was here. So, it was great to be back. Lots of internationaltouriststhistimeofyear.
October 9 & 10, Nashville, Tennessee STORY conference was held again, after a two year hiatus. It's two days of insight and inspiration. My friend, Harris, produces this excellent experience. I can't recommend it highly enough to those yearning to become excellent in their field—whatever field they may be. When companies like Nike, Chick-Fil-A, Pinterest, and churches, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs all show up, you know it is going to be fantastic.
October 12 & 13, Orlando, Florida
It was back to O-town for two more eveningsoffun!
October 17, Madison, Florida A three-hour or so drive north will take you to Madison, Florida. I was the passenger as Tim DeTellis, president ofNewMissions, andhostofLaugh All Night drove us to be with this sweet church, Fellowship Baptist. Special guest, and 4-time Dove Award Winning musician Clay Crosse, joined us there, as we kicked off a tour of music and magic benefitingNewMissions.AuniqueLaughAllNight!

October24-26,MountDora,FloridaWith the Magic Bash last month, I didn't host a Mind, Myth & Magic, so it made sense to come back this month with three nights, instead of the usual two. All three were sold out, and great connections with community weremade!
