and faculty. Notre Dame is also designing a new 30,000 square foot Center for STEM Education that will foster collaboration, innovation and research.

We are honored that the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia selected our Mansion restoration as a 2017 Grand Jury Award Winner.

Generous STEM leadership gifts from Brian and Donna McNeill P’10’11, the Connelly Family, D’Arcy ’73 and Tamas Rudnay P’03’05, and Barb ’90 and Brian Riley P’19’21’23, along with support from the entire Notre Dame community, ensure that Notre Dame students will have the core competencies required to excel as leaders in STEM fields and in all careers.

These significant initiatives are among many priorities under implementation within our Strategic Vision 2015-2020, as we continue to implement Notre Dame’s roadmap for the present and the future.

The exterior of the Academy’s Mansion has been restored and returned to its earlier grandeur. The campus master plan calls for the restoration of the Mansion as the formal “front door” where the Academy welcomes new students, parents, alumnae, and visitors. This year, significant steps were taken to preserve the historic architectural features, such as black Vermont slate on the roof and “Peacock Plum” trim, with all 250 windows in the Mansion restored and releaded.

Thank you for your continued support of and engagement in the community of Notre Dame. May God’s goodness bless you and your families. Sincerely, Judith A. Dwyer, Ph.D. President
