Senior Editor’s Note: Thank you to everyone who submitted artwork and made this edition possible! Though I’ve been a contributor since 9th grade, this is the 3rd and last magazine I will have ever had a hand in putting together as a Muse officer. The Muse Magazine is one of the things I’ll miss the most about NDA. I look forward to future publications no longer as an insider, but from the eyes of an alumni.
-Melissa B. ’23Mission: The Muse is a collection of student, faculty, and alumni artwork open to all members of the Notre Dame Academic Community (NDAC).
We strive to provide a creative, supportive outlet for students to share their many artistic talents, including but not limited to projects from their own art curriculum.
Each issue receives more entries than we can include, therefore a juried selection process is carried out by the members of the MUSE club. Works are chosen based on artistic merit: quality of work, originality, and unique subject matter/design.
Concerning the complex issue of ownership, the staff relies on the honesty and integrity of our contributors. It is assumed that anything submitted to the magazine is solely owned by the contributor, who hereby grants permission to publish their work in this form.
