LEARN HOW TO CONNECT THE UBUNTU WAY
A lot of us could use a little human connection to soothe our lonely, alienated, anxious selves right now. You may well find exactly what you need on the Wenatchee First Fridays Arts Walk this month - Ubuntu. Not sure what that is? The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center is hosting guest lecturer Dr. Itohan M. Idumwonyi this Friday, Feb. 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. as part of their Film and Speaker Series.
Dr. Idumwonyi invites Washingtonians to explore
new ways to foster human interconnectedness through the African philosophy of Ubuntu. Ubuntu emphasizes community building, and offers a way to re-approach our relationships so that we can break the artificial borders that separate us and look out for one another. Sound intriguing? Check it out Friday, Feb. 7, 7-9 p.m. No charge for admission.
